Diane Sigafoose,79, of Belton passed away on Monday, November 13, 2017 at a local hospital from complications with pneumonia. Memorial services will be at 11:00 A.M. held on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at The Vine Church on 31st Street in Temple with Pastor Billy Bob Cox officiating. Diane was born on February 3,1938 in Fithian, IL to Addie and James Thomason. She married Robert ""Bob"" D. Sigafoose on June 16, 1956 in Danville, IL. Diane and her husband accepted Christ into their lives in their thirties and followed the call of God to be missionaries in Southeast, Asia. They served in Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, and China for more than 30 years. After returning in 1999, they moved to Waco. Her husband, Bob was the minister at Belton Christian Church on Holland Rd. Until his death in 2005. Diane continued to help the congregation until 2007 when she joined The Vine Church on 31st Street in Temple. She made clip board of activities for the children to use during services and was so passionate about making them fun with themes that were seasonal and pertained to the sermons. She invested many hours and money in making them perfect for the children. Diane volunteered at the Belton Senior Center for many years every Thursday. She was known as the ""The Bingo Lady"" and would often wear fun hats and costumes. Diane was known for her sense of humor, kindness, love for people, and love for Christ. She is preceded in death by her parents; a sister: two brothers; husband, Robert D. Sigafoose, and granddaughter, Alicia Bartscher,and great grandson, Renner Robert Estabrook. Diane is survived by her daughters, Laura Sigafoose of Belton, and Deborah (Damon) Bartscher of Mitchell, SD; her five sisters, Connie Disney of Davenport, IA, Jennifer Stone of Danville, IL, Karen Jones of SC, Margo Huff of Bartlesville, KY, and Linda Massey of Nashville, TN, and grandchildren Austin (Nicole) Bartscher of Rapid City, SD and Amber (Tod) Estabrook of Thief River Falls.
