Leonard ""Gene"" Trapp

Leonard "Gene" Trapp,77, of Salado went to be with the lord on Thursday, July 21, 2016 at his residence. A memorial service will be held for Gene at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, July 30, 2016 at Youngsport Baptist in Killeen. A fellowship meal will follow the services. Leonard "Gene" Trapp was born September 22, 1938 to Leonard and LaVerne Trapp in New Mexico. Gene was a truck driver most of his life. He worked for CRL trucking company for many years. Gene married his wife Lisa Trapp in 2003. He loved working outside and spending time with his family. Gene always had a huge smile on his face and he will be dearly missed. Gene is preceded in death by his wife, Lisa Trapp and his parents. Leonard "Gene" Trapp is survived by his son, Danny Trapp of Iowa;his two daughters, Jill Bert of Iowa and Amanda Trapp of Harker Heights;his two brothers,Ronnie Trapp of Nevada and Gary Trapp of Salado;his four sisters, Lynda Lindsay of Colorado, Nita Diane Knight of Salado,Sheri Demers of Kempner, and Rebecca Reid of Temple;eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
