Melvin Earl Hutchins

Melvin Earl Hutchins,74, of Vermont passed away Thursday, March 24, 2016 at a Temple hospital. A private family service will be held at a later date. His body was cremated. Melvin Earl Hutchins was born November 2, 1941 to Earl and Clara Hutchins in Hancock, VT. Melvin served his county in the Army National Guard. He married Donna Demas on July 21, 1990. Melvin worked in maintenance as a fork lift driver for over 36 years, He loved old westerns, history, and most of all, spending time with his family. Melvin will be dearly missed. Melvin is survived by his loving wife, Donna Hutchins; three sons, Earl Hutchins of North Carolina, Mitch Kathan, and Chris Kathan both of Vermont; three daughters, Christine Isham of Vermont, Patrice Ellman of California, and Lisa Kathan of Temple; one sister, Beverly Schwartzof Ohio;nineteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
