Troy Holder

Troy "Butch" E. Holder, 74, of Marble Falls passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at his residence. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, January 30, 2017 at North Belton Cemetery. Butch was born on January 6,1943 to Loyd and Edwinna Holder in Mount Vernon. He proudly and bravely served our country in the U.S. Navy as Telecommunications Engineer. Butch served three tours in Vietnam and ran the telecommunications for the Navy Seals. He was very involved in the Vietnam Veterans of America Association. Butch loved his two dogs, Owen and Bobbie Jean. He was known by his brother as being the, "Toughest man he had ever met". He will be dearly missed. Butch is preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Robert Holder. He is survived by his two siblings , "Shane" Jake Jacobs of Marble Falls, and Ann Bishop of Belton.
