Yae Yamaguchi Menyhert

Yae Yamaguchi Menyher, 89, of Belton passed away Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at a Temple hospital. Memorial services will be held on Friday, April 7, 2017 at Presbyterian Church of Salado at 4:00 P.M.with Pastor Carl Thompson officiating. Her body was cremated. Yae Yamaguchi Menyhert was born on August 14, 1927 to Busukae Yamaguchi and Naka Tanaka in Ohara, Japan. She worked as a nurse in WW II and the Korean War. Yae was a homemaker and a furrier most of her life. She attended Presbyterian Church of Salado and enjoyed spending time with her family. She is preceded in death by her parents Busukae Yamaguchi and Naka Tanaka. Yae Yamaguchi Menyhert is survived by two sons, Carl Menyhert of Belton and Louis Menyhert of Virginia; a brother, Shuho Shikida of Tokyo, Japan; and two grandchildren.
