Anastacio Escobedo Zabala

Anastacio Escobedo Zabala, 61, of Belton passed away on Monday, July 1, 2019 in the comfort of his home. Anastacio was born to Antonio Escobedo Corona and Maria Zabala on November 9, 1957 in Mexico. He married his wife Maria on October 13, 1978 in Mexico. He spent his days working in manufacturing. Anastacio had a love for animals of all kinds, but particularly chickens, roosters, and horses. Vigil will be held at Crotty Funeral Home in Belton on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at 6:00 P.M., with a rosary service to follow at 7:00 P.M. Funeral mass will be held at Christ the King Catholic Church on Thursday, July 11, 2019 at 10:30 A.M. with burial at North Belton Cemetery to follow. Anastacio is survived by his wife Maria Escobedo; his father Antonio; his sons, Mauricio Escobedo of Mexico and Arturo Escobedo of Nolanville; his brothers, Bartolo Escobedo of Arizona, Vicente Escobedo of Temple, Jose Escobedo of Mexico, and Gustavo Escobedo, Abel Escobedo, Jimmy Escobedo, and Antonio Escobedo, all of California; his sisters Josefina Guillen of Belton, and Guadalupe Escobedo and Martha Escobedo, both of Mexico; and his four grandchildren. Anastacio is preceded in death by his mother Maria Zabala and his son Francisco Escobedo. Arrangements are entrusted to Crotty Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Belton.
