Christy Michelle Sims Christy Michelle Sims,41, of Belton passed away Sunday, June 2,2013 at a Temple hospital. A Visitation will be held 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday June 5, 2013 at Crotty Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Belton. A graveside Service will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 6, 2013 at Pendleton Cemetery with Brother Billy Koinm officiating. Christy Michelle Sims was born on April 27, 1972 to David and Sandra Sue (Chenault) Whitmire in Port Lavaca, Texas. She married Austin Sims December 19, 1995 in Belton. Christy was a Vet Tech at Killeen Veterinary Clinic. She enjoyed fishing, children, animals, the lake, and spending time with family and friends. She is survived by her mother, Sandra Sue (Chenault) Meek of Belton; her husband, Austin Sims of Belton; three sons, Cody Sims, Jeff Sims and Brandon Juergens all of Belton; one daughter, Kristen Blair of Belton;three brothers, David Burnham of Beaumont, Glen Whitmire of Odessa, David Perry of Illinois, and Matthew Whitmire of Lovelady ;three sisters, Reba Kendall of Odessa, Shawna Chenault of Dallas, and Belinda Taylor of Temple; three grandchildren, Copelyn Blair, Callie Rae Juergens, and Addyson Faith Juergens. Arrangements are entrusted to Crotty Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Belton. Memorials may be made to a charity of choice.
