Donna Louise Turnpaugh

Donna Louise Turnpaugh,77, of Temple passed away on Thursday, February 7, 2019 at her residence. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at Crotty Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Belton with Pastor H.K. Ballard officiating. Donna Louise Turnpaugh was born on December 13,1941 in Kokomo, Indiana to Ira and Desi James. As a young woman she loved going dancing and roller skating. Donna loved to travel even if that meant she had a full tank of gas in her Station Wagon to drive the children to Florida and back. Donna worked very hard as a single mother for her four children. She worked several years at Delco Electronics and after she retired, she was head of housekeeping for Southeast Cleaning Services in Temple. Donna had the most caring helpful heart. There wasn't a stray animal or person that needed anything that she wouldn't take into her home. She always loved playing card games, animals, caring for children, and especially spending time with her grandbabies. She is preceded in death by her brothers, John James, Rex James, Ira James; her sister, Nancy Mitchell; two grandsons, Eric Turnpaugh and Travis Turnpaugh. Donna is survived by her sons, Richard ""Rick"" Lee Turnpaugh II of Belton, Randy Allen Turnpaugh of Gatesville, and Robert Kent Turnpaugh of Pendleton; her daughter, Kandy Diane Wolff of Temple; eight grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
