Dorothy Crathers

Bernice ""Dorothy"" Crathers, 87, of Bartlett passed away on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 in the comfort of her home. Dorothy was born to Leanna and Eddy Johnson on September 17, 1932 in Fayetteville, Texas. She married her husband, Solomon ""S.P."" Crathers on December 22, 1958. Dorothy spent her days raising her children and being the best mom and grandma she could be. She loved being with and laughing with her family. Dorothy had a great sense of humor, and was very easy going, sweet, and kind. A visitation for Dorothy will be held on Monday, October 28, 2019 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Crotty Funeral Home in Belton. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. at Bartlett City Cemetery. Dorothy is survived by her sons, Ira Crathers of Holland, Charles Crathers of Bartlett, Wayne Crathers of Belton, Lonnie Crathers of Bartlett, and Darritt Crathers of Bartlett; her daughters, Doris Thomas of Bartlett and Kathleen Hurst of Oklahoma; her twenty-four grandchildren; and her thirty-seven great grandchildren. Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband S.P. Crathers, and her son Clarence Crathers. Arrangements are entrusted to Crotty Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Belton.
