Jerry N. Guthrie,71, of Belton passed away Monday, December 9, 2013 at his residence. Private Family Services will be held at a later date. His body was cremated. Jerry N. Guthrie was born September 13, 1942 to Marcus and Juanita Guthrie in Waco. He was in Tile Flooring Industry most of his life. He enjoyed shopping at Wal-Mart, working, Bible study,fishing, and watching old westerns. He was preceded in death by his brother Norman Guthrie if Temple in 2013. He Is Survived by three sons, Terry Davis of Temple, Jason Shanks of Fort Worth, and Brandon Simek of Temple; three brothers, Marcus Guthrie of Zabcikville, Ferrell Guthrie of Rock Port, and Johnny Barnett of Bryan; two sisters, Rebecca Ballard of Belton, Dolores Barnett of Temple, and one grandchild.
