Ricardo Arizmendi

Ricardo Arizmendi, 79, of Temple passed away on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at a local nursing home. Ricardo was born on July 18, 1940 to Francisco and Catarina Arizmendi in Mexico. He worked as a machine operator for Artco-Bell for several years. Ricardo loved his family and spending time with them. He was a very outgoing and fun person to be around. Ricardo enjoyed barbequing at the lake with his family, working on cars, and staying very busy. He is preceded in death by his parents, Francisco and Catarina Arizmendi; his brother, Arcenio Arizmendi, and his sister, Maria Arizmendi. He is survived by his loving wife, Christina Arizmendi of Temple; his sons, Juan Fernando Arizmendi of Moody, Ricardo Arizmendi Jr. of Temple, and Joel Hernandez of Monterrey; his daughters, Blanca Lorene Arizmendi of Temple, Christina Arizmendi of Temple, Arlene Arizmendi of Minnesota, veronica Hernandez of Belton, and Maria Hernandez of Austin; his brothers, Cruz Arizmendi of Temple, Manuel Arizmendi of Houston, Emilio Arizmendi of Phar, Francisco Arizmendi of Harlingen and Luis Arizmendi of Houston; his sister, Rosa Arizmendi of Phar; and thirty one grandchildren and twenty eight great grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Friday, July 26, 2019 from 1:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. with a Rosary to follow from 6:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Crotty Funeral Home in Belton. A funeral mass will be held at Christ the King Catholic Church at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, July 27, 2019 with Father Sang officiating. Burial will follow at North Belton Cemetery.
