Robert ""Tex"" Jezek

Robert "Tex" Jezek,64, of Durango passed away Saturday,January 11, 2014 at his residence. His body was cremated. A memorial service will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday, January 17, 2014 at Crotty Funeral Home with John Michalak officiating. Robert "Tex" Jezek was born December 26,1949 to Robert and Hilda (Sirny) Jezek in Temple. He was a truck driver most of his life and worked for McLane Distribution from 1990 until 2002. He also worked for Connors Construction of Lott from 2011 until 2013. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his parents, Robert and Hilda Jezek of Troy; four daughters, Mindy Jezek of Durango, Sandy Rose of Temple, Keri Rose of Temple, and Tammy Rose of Salado; six sisters, Jeannie and Robert Broughton of Durango, Betty Chandler of Rogers, Eve and Bill Mayes of Troy, Debbie and Mike Chevre of Minnesota, Teresa and Kenny Malcik of Temple, Willie and Pedro Henslee of Durango; four grandchildren, Hanna Stewart, Kade Humphries, Micaela Camero, and Jayden Camero. Along with many other friends and family whose lives he touched throughout his memorable life. Arrangements are entrusted to Crotty Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Belton.
