Ruth Mary Arenas

Ruth Mary Arenas, 64, of Killeen, passed away on Monday, August 10th, at a local hospital due to Covid-19. Ruth was born on February 25, 1956 to Claude Monroe Ray and Matilda Augusta Ray in Navasota. She married Rufino Duran Arenas on September 12,1985 in Caldwell. She loved being a mother and grandmother. Ruth enjoyed reading, cooking, and spending time with her three great grandchildren. Ruth is preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Matilda Ray, her husband, Rufino Duran Arenas, and her sisters, Ruby Erwin and Patsy Martinez. She is survived by her daughter, Lori Miranda and husband, Gerardo Miranda of Killeen; her granddaughters, Ashley Sanchez and husband Isabel Sanchez, and Amanda Miranda of Killeen and her three great grandchildren, Javier , Joesiah, Montserrat Sanchez; her brother, Claude Ray of Holland; her sisters, Alice Moore of Bryan, Betty Ray of Caldwell,and Margie Walker of Llano,along with many cherish family member and friends.
