Thelma Bumbalough

Thelma Bumbalough, 88, of Killeen passed away on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at a local hospital. Graveside service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at the Killeen City Cemetery with Pastor Justin Moss Officiating. Thelma was born on July 31, 1929 to Irl and Adelia Bullock in Garden City, KS. She married Eugene Bumbalough on February 20, 1954 in Nashville, TN. Thelma was a homemaker most of her life. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Thelma loved knitting, crocheting, reading, bowling, working crossword puzzles, and gardening. She was a member of Memorial Baptist Church of Killeen since 1967 where she faithfully served the Lord. Thelma was preceded in death by her loving husband of over 46 years, Eugene Bumbalough, in 2000. She is survived by her two sons, Dana Bumbalough and wife, Amy of Burleson, and Doug Bumbalough of Killeen; her two daughters, Cindy Holbert and husband, Tracy of College Station, and Regenia Rochelle and husband, Bill of Belton; ten grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
