Zella Bess Cleveland

Zella Bess Cleveland, 90, of Temple passed away on Thursday, November 14, 2019 in a local nursing home. Zella was born to Willie Pauline and Wade H. Buice on December 12, 1928 in Waco, Texas. Zella graduated from Waco High School in 1946, worked for the Texas Farm Bureau, then worked for a tire company. She loved doing crosswords and puzzles and she was a great cook. Zella didn't go to cosmetology school, but she was known to perm everyone's hair. She worked very hard to provide for her family. A graveside service for Zella will be held on Monday, November 18, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Oakwood Cemetery in Waco. Zella is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Krcha of Temple; her beloved eight granddaughters; her twenty- five great grandchildren; her three great great grandchildren; and her many cherished nieces, nephews, and cousins. Zella is preceded in death by her husband, Walter C. Cleveland; her son, Kenneth Cleveland; her brother, Rayburn Buice; and her sister, Doris Elizabeth Wood. In leu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Ronald McDonald House, in Temple, Tx. Arrangements are entrusted to Crotty Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Belton.
