Albina Guajardo Paredes

Albina Paredes, age 98, of Belton went to be with the Lord on July 15, 2022, at her residence.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 19, 2022, from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. followed by a rosary from 7:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. by Father Hilario Guajardo at Crotty Funeral Home & Cremation Services. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, July 20, 2022, with Father Hilario Guajardo officiating at Cornhill Cemetery in Jarrell.

Albina was born on March 1, 1924, to Eusebio and Inez Capetillo Guajardo in Buda, Texas. She married Lucas Paredes in 1952 in Salado, Texas. They had three daughters they adored. Albina loved sewing, knitting, crocheting, cooking for her family, gardening, and feeding the neighborhood cats. She loved being a wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother.  

She is preceded in death by her parents, Eusebio and Inez Capetillo Guajardo; her husband of over forty-nine years, Lucas Paredes that passed in August of 2000.

Albina is survived by her three daughters, Lupe Martinez of Belton, Dominga Smith and her husband, Robert of Washington State, and Paula Garza and her husband Richard of Temple; her brother, Delfino Guajardo of Belton, eight grandchildren, and seventeen great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, and many cherished family members.
