Barbara Elliott

Barbara Kay "BK" Elliott, 72, of Temple passed away on Monday September 26, 2022, at a Temple hospital.

Services will be held at 2:00P.M. on Friday September 30, 2022, at Crotty Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Belton.

Visitation will be held from 6:00P.M. until 8:00P.M. on Thursday September 29, 2022, at Crotty Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Belton

Barbara was born on March 26, 1950, in Cleveland, Ohio to John and Ruth Backer Beavo.

Barbara was a licensed cosmetologist in her early years and the worked in janitorial at Temple College from 1992 until 2010. She worked for Lisa's Dance Connection from 2000 until her retirement in 2015.

She loved deer hunting having her own deer horns on her wall. Barbara loved plants and was known to have a green thumb. Barbara loved listening to Christian Gospel Music She loved She loved spending time with her family and friends, but her grandchildren and great grandchildren were her pride and joy.

She is survived by three stepsons, James Elliott of Arkansas, Clifton Elliott of Houston and Robert Elliott of Temple; one stepdaughter, Misty Harris of Temple; 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; Two grandchildren Kevin Burtchell and wife, Jennifer, Samantha Oppermann and husband, Mikal all of Temple.

She is preceded in death by her husband, John Elliot; a son, Louis Handley on March 17, 1969, and her daughter, Bobbie Elliott on April 20, 2021
