Basilio Trevino, Jr.,69, of Belton passed away on March 31, 2024, in Temple, Texas, surrounded by his loved ones.

Born on March 19, 1955, in Temple, Texas, to Basilio Trevino Sr. and Telesfora (Salazar) Trevino, Basilio brought joy to those around him with his witty humor and quick wit. He married the love of his life, Rosemary Garcia in Belton, Texas, were they raised their three children.

Basilio was a compassionate soul with a deep love for his country and a dedication to honoring veterans. Though he was unable to serve in the United States Armed Forces, his heart was that of true veteran. Basilio would never miss an opportunity to salute his fellow servicemen and women, embodying the spirit of patriotism every day by donning a veteran hat.

Basilio's talent for comedy brightened the lives of many, leaving behind cherished memories through his jokes and laughter that will be forever treasured. His easy-going nature and fun-loving personality were contagious to all who knew him. His passion for sports shone through in his support for both the Dallas Cowboys and the Houston Texans. Basilio's love for sports was a reflection of his vibrant spirit and zest for life.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Basilio Trevino Sr. and Telesfora (Salazar) Trevino.

He is survived by his sons, Anthony Trevino and Basilio Trevino III; a daughter, Marie Burgess and her husband Charlie; daughter in law, Brianna Sifuentes; a sister, Gloria Alvarez; a brother, Joe Alfred Trevino; a granddaughter: Mariposa Trevino and many loving family members and friends.

His memory will live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him. Rest in peace, Basilio Trevino Jr., you will be dearly missed but never forgotten.
