Bobby Gene Faulkner

Bobby Gene Faulkner,84, of Belton went to be with Jesus on Sunday, August 22, 2021, at home surrounded by his loved ones.

A visitation for Bob will be held on Thursday, August 26, 2021, from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Crotty Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Belton. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday August 27, 2021, at Crotty Funeral home & Cremation Services of Belton with Pastor Jeremy Franks of Fellowship Baptist Church officiating. His burial will take place at Mount Green Cemetery in Pecos, Texas on Monday, August 30, 2021, at 3:00 P.M.

Bobby Gene Faulkner was born on December 23, 1936, in Guthrie, OK to Otis and Ruth Faulkner. He graduated high school in Oklahoma and served in the U.S. Army. Bob married Linda Carpenter on October 3, 1965. He was a mechanic for most of his life and he worked as the service and parts manager at Colt Chevrolet and Buick in Pecos for many years. Bob enjoyed fishing, golf, and working on cars. He was a man of God with a very kind heart. He enjoyed being a father, a grandfather, and attending church at Fellowship Baptist Church in Morgan’s Point.

He was met in Heaven by his parents, Otis and Ruth Faulkner, and his wife, Linda Faulkner.

He is survived by his daughter, April Faulkner Hignojos and her husband, Salvador of Leander, two brothers, three sisters, two grandchildren, Magdalena Hignojos and Ayrton Hignojos of Leander, and numerous cherished friends and family members.
