Brian Roy Neie

November 24, 1979 — September 21, 2025

Brian Roy Neie, aged 45, who left this world far too soon on September 21, 2025, in Belton, Texas. Born on November 24, 1979, in West Covina, California, Brian's journey through life was marked by unwavering courage, a loving heart, and an infectious smile that brightened the lives of all who knew him.

Brian's early life was spent in California until his family moved to the Waco area, where he attended local schools. His passion for technology and communication led him to Texas State Technical College, where he studied Telecommunications, laying the groundwork for what would be a successful career. As a Senior Technical Support Manager at Cubic Transportation Systems, His contributions to the industry were significant, and his work ethic was unparalleled. Brian was not only respected for his expertise but also his ability to lead and inspire his team with kindness and understanding.

Brian resided in Pflugerville, Texas, where he crafted a life filled with joy and love alongside Annette, his cherished wife of 13 years. Brian was a devoted husband and loving father. Together, they were raising their two wonderful young children, Bryson and Ashlyn, who were the center of Brian's world. His love for his family was the beacon that guided him, and the memories they created will be treasured forever.

Brian's mother, Isabel Neie, remains to honor his legacy, as do his sisters, Shari Cole of Anaheim, California, and Tracy O'Brien, of Hewitt, Texas, and brother Steve Neie of Lorena, Texas. While his father, Buford Roy Neie, preceded him in death, the stories of their shared moments continue to resonate with those who knew them. Brian's extended family, a vibrant tapestry of cousins, nieces, and nephews, will remember him as a figure of strength and affection in their lives.

A man of many interests, Brian's hands were rarely still, as he was always tinkering with projects, a testament to his inventive spirit and his eagerness to solve problems. An avid outdoorsman, he found solace in the solitude of hunting and the patience of fishing, or riding off road trails with friends, Brian relished the time spent with his wife and children, and he embraced every opportunity to make memories that would last a lifetime. Whether it was traveling with friends and family, or supporting Ashlyn as a "cheer dad," or cheering on Bryson in flag football and basketball, Brian's presence was a source of strength and joy. He loved showcasing his supportive nature and the depths of his love for his children.

Brian's life was a true reflection of the values he held dear: courage during times of need, unwavering devotion to his family, and a friendly demeanor that endeared him to all who knew him. His absence will be profoundly felt by all who had the privilege of knowing him, but his spirit will continue to inspire us to live with the same compassion, strength and warmth that he exemplified each day. His legacy lives on in the hearts of those who loved him and in the lasting impact he made on the world around him. Brian Roy Neie, a man of honor, love and, joy, will be deeply missed.
