Catherine Annelle Naser, known by family and friends as Katie, a beloved wife, daughter, and mother passed away peacefully on January 8, 2024, at her residence in Harker Heights, Texas.
Born on June 17, 1965, in Austin, Texas, to Annelle and Hugh McGaw. Catherine brought joy and love to those who knew her.
Katie was a compassionate and devoted individual who cherished her family above all else. Her unwavering love for her husband, Steve Naser, who she married on May 17, 1997 in Harker Heights, Texas was a testament to their deep connection and the foundation of their beautiful marriage. Together, they built a lifetime of memories, shared laughter, and unwavering support.
Katie found fulfillment in her profession as a pawnbroker, working diligently at 19th Hole where she met her husband Steve and finishing her career at Top Loan. Outside of work, Katie delighted in the simple pleasures of life. She had a green thumb and spent countless hours tending to her garden. An avid lover of nature, she often found solace in the great outdoors, whether it was basking in the sunshine at the beach or on the back porch by the pool listening to her favorite band Rush.
Her love for her family was unwavering, and Katie cherished every moment spent with her loved ones. Whether it was gathering around the dinner table to share stories and laughter or embarking on memorable adventures, she understood the importance of creating cherished memories.
Katie Naser's passing leaves a void that will be deeply felt by her beloved husband, Steve Naser; two daughters, Sarah Naser, Mindy Gilbertson and husband Aaron of Corinth, Texas; a brother, Michael McGaw of Euless, Texas; a sister, Margaret Hendricks and husband Bruce of Aurora, Texas; her mother in law, Patricia Naser; two grandchildren, Emerald Gilbertson and Sadie Gilbertson; three nephews and one niece.
A celebration of life will be held at The Pitstop,14595 FM 439, Nolanville, TX 76513, on January 27, 2024. Memorial service at 3:00 pm and Celebration to Follow.
Katie may be gone from our sight, but she will forever remain in our hearts, her spirit gently guiding us in times of need. May she find eternal peace and tranquility as her legacy lives on through those who loved her.
