In Loving Memory of Charlie Tyrone Williams

June 30, 1974 – October 6, 2026

Charlie Tyrone Williams passed away on October 6, 2026, in Temple, Texas. Born on June 30, 1974, in Macon, Georgia, Charlie lived a life defined by service, dedication, compassion, and an unwavering love for family and friends.

Charlie attended Jones County High School before proudly serving his country in the United States Army. Following his military service, he devoted 22 years to the federal government through Railhead Operations, where he played a vital role in supporting numerous military deployments and redeployments. His commitment to excellence and his strong work ethic earned the respect of colleagues and friends alike. After taking early retirement, Charlie pursued his passion in the electrical and telecommunications industry, contributing to projects that included the installation of stadium lighting.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Charlie was known for his larger-than-life personality and his extraordinary ability to connect with people. A devoted Georgia Bulldogs fan, he enjoyed traveling, meeting new people, and creating lasting friendships wherever he went. Known affectionately as "Tyrone" or simply "T," Charlie never met a stranger. He genuinely loved people regardless of background, race, nationality, religion, or beliefs.

Friends often said, "Charlie just loved people." Many joked that he was a chameleon because he could walk into any room and instantly make connections with those around him. Charlie possessed a rare gift for conversation and understanding. He was a trusted mentor, a loyal friend, a confident ally, and an excellent judge of character. His curiosity about others was genuine and heartfelt. He could spend time with someone and learn their entire life story, making them feel valued, appreciated, and understood.

His father affectionately nicknamed him "Sonar Ears" because of his remarkable ability to hear, remember, and recall details that others often missed. Charlie's warmth, kindness, humor, and easygoing nature left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.

Charlie leaves to cherish his memory his parents, Charlie and Carolyn Williams; his beloved wife, Louisa Fernandez; his daughters, Alyssa T. Jefferson (Ray), Kiana A. Williams, Aundrea McGill, and O'Neisha Miles (Brenton); his brothers, Gregory R. Williams (Angel) and Rondel D. Williams; and his sisters, Janis R. Williams and La Donna M. Nash (Philip).

He is also survived by his cherished granddaughters, Aaliyah S. McGill and Penelope Le'Anne- Maire Miles; his nephews, Gregory Williams and Jacques Williams-Sampson; his nieces, Brianna Williams, Ashley Denard, and Goldon Bell; his aunts, Helen Wood, Louise Williams, and Annette Williams; his uncles, Leroy Goolsby, Jack Williams, Edward Williams, and Eddie Williams; and a host of extended family members, lifelong friends, and loved ones whose lives were forever enriched by knowing him.

Charlie Tyrone Williams will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered. His legacy of service, friendship, generosity, and love will continue to live on through the countless lives he touched. Though he is no longer with us in person, his spirit, wisdom, laughter, and the memories he created will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him.

"A life well lived leaves a legacy of love."

Forever Loved. Forever Remembered. Forever Missed. ❤️
