Cheryl Schuh

Cheryl Lynn (Cherie) Schuh, age 74, passed away on May 17, 2025 at her residence in Temple, Tx. Cheryl was born August 5, 1950 to Richard (Dick) Burman, Betty (Finney) Melton in Ft Dodge Iowa. She graduated from Ft. Dodge High School in 1968 and married her former husband Wally in 1969.  She worked at, managed, and then they bought The Rose Bowl Lanes until 1984 when they moved to Texas. She loved bowling, where she met many life-long friends and was able to travel with them and family to many tournaments throughout the years. She was able to work in many different roles after moving to Texas which allowed her to travel the states and make new life long friends along the way. She spent most of her extra time with friends Patti, Georgette or Judy. She then retired in Temple due to Alzheimer's. Cherie is survived by her children, Peggie (Schuh) Williams (Randy Wheeler), Chuck Schuh (Lori Kristinek) both of Temple and Danny Schuh (Tiffany Schuh) of San Diego, California. Cherie loved being a Grandma to Nicole Williams 24, Chloe Schuh 13 and was fortunate to spend extra time with them while they were young. Cherie is survived by her siblings Cindy George, Della Burman, and Roger Burman (Kris). She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Don and Bill Burman Celebration of Life will be held August 9th in Temple Tx. (details TBA)
