On a somber day in Kempner, Texas, we bid farewell to a beloved soul, Chester Brown Jr., affectionately known as "JR" to those who knew him best. Born November 24, 1944, in Great Bend, Kansas, Chester's journey through life was one marked unwavering commitment and profound love for his family.

In his professional life, Chester excelled as the warehouse manager of Copperas Cove School District. His dedication to his was commendable, always striving for excellence in all his. Those who had the of working with Chester him as a man of few words but immense integrity.

Chester's early years in Great Bend laid the foundation for the remarkable individual he would become. He served honorably in Vietnam as a proud member of the United States Army. His bravery and sacrifice were recognized through various distinguished honors, including the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Army Commendation Metal, Purple Heart Medal, Bronze Star, and Vietnam Gallantry Cross.

Outside of his professional duties, Chester found solace in simple pleasures such as watching wrestling matches, playing video games, and cherishing quiet moments at home. His hobbies reflected his down-to-earth nature and brought him joy amidst life's challenges.

While Chester faced hardships following the loss of his beloved wife, Barbara Brown, his love for his family never wavered. The memories of their time together were cherished deeply in his heart, a testament to the enduring bond they shared.

Chester is survived by his daughters, Janese Yates and Jessica Reicherts, along with 12 cherished grandchildren. In this time of grief, may they find solace in the legacy that Chester leaves behind.
