Born on September 23, 1953, to the late Marion Zane and Leona Louise LeTurgez, Connie's life was one of unwavering devotion to her family, her work, and her myriad of interests that brought joy to her and those around her.
The close-knit bonds of family meant everything to Connie. Cherished sister to Evelyn Hall, Dennis LeTurgez, and the late Bob and twin sister Bonnie LeTurgez, she navigated life with the support and love of her siblings. Connie's heart found its match in her husband, Marion Fowler, who stood by her side in a lifelong journey of companionship and mutual adoration. Blessed with children Manette and James Fowler, and enriched through her daughter-in-law Ashley Fowler, she embraced her role as a mother with unparalleled tenderness and dedication.
Connie beamed with pride at the accomplishments and dreams of her grandchildren, Destany Oliver, James Oliver, Faydon Fowler, and Jacob Royals. She relished every moment she could watch them in the marching band, perform in competitions, or simply share in their everyday adventures. Even her loyal kitty held a treasured place in her nurturing embrace.
Professionally, Connie's tenure extended over three decades at Eckerds, later transforming into CVS Pharmacy. There, her colleagues became a second family, a testament to the personal connections and gentle touch she brought into all facets of her work life. Her selfless nature and consistent dedication endeared her to coworkers and customers alike.
Her interests were as vibrant and varied as the seasons. Connie's adoration for the Wizard of Oz was reflected in her extensive collection, mirroring the magical world she crafted for her loved ones. She found excitement and thrills in watching drag races, particularly when joined by her brother Dennis LeTurgez, her grandson Faydon, and her son, Big James. These moments on the starting line were among her most thrilling recollections. Connie also loved volunteering at camp in Colorado with her sisters. She always had the best time .
Connie's zest for life was paralleled by her love for music, with Jelly Roll being her latest musical fancy. Her pastime of reading Amish books and coloring brought her peace and allowed her to explore her creative side. Above all, spending precious time with her family was her most cherished activity, an enduring testament to her loving nature.
Through every stage of her life, Connie maintained an environment of warmth and serenity. Those who knew her spoke of her as being the epitome of kindness and selflessness, and her gentle demeanor was a solace and source of comfort to all who were fortunate to cross her path.
As the sun sets on a life so brightly lived, Connie Lanette Fowler's legacy will continue to shine through the lives of those she touched.
