Diana Gabriela Ávila-Esqueda, una querida madre, abuela, hermana y amiga, falleció pacíficamente rodeada de su familia el 7 de septiembre de 2023. Nació el 10 de junio de 1968 en México, y su espíritu alegre tocó las vidas de todos los que la conocieron.

La infancia de Diana en México estuvo llena de alegría y risas. Creció jugando con sus hermanos y apreciaba los momentos que pasaba con ellos. Desde pequeña, Diana sentía un profundo amor por los animales y disfrutaba cuidándolos. Su corazón cálido y su naturaleza amante de la diversión fueron evidentes durante toda su vida.

A lo largo de su vida, Diana encontró un gran consuelo en la naturaleza. Le encantaba hacer senderismo, dar largos paseos y quedar cautivada por la belleza del mundo que la rodeaba. También deja atrás a sus hermanas Brenda Alejandre de Houston, TX; Selene Arellano de Río Bravo, MX; Xiomara Deleon de Donna, TX Ma Verónica Ávila de Río Bravo, MX. El querido nieto de Diana guarda recuerdos que ahora son aún más preciosos. Además de sus familiares inmediatos, le sobreviven numerosos familiares y amigos que se vieron profundamente impactados por su presencia en sus vidas.

Diana Gabriela Avila-Esqueda, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on September 7, 2023. She was born on June 10, 1968, in Mexico, and her joyful spirit touched the lives of all who knew her.

Diana's childhood in Mexico was filled with joy and laughter. She grew up playing with her siblings and cherished the moments spent with them. Even from a young age, Diana had a deep love for animals and enjoyed taking care of them. Her warm heart and fun-loving nature were evident throughout her entire life.

Throughout her life journey, Diana found great solace in nature. She loved hiking, going for long walks, and being captivated by the beauty of the world around her. One could often find Diana savoring a cup of coffee while marveling at the wonders of nature. Her appreciation for life's simple pleasures served as an inspiration to those who knew her.

Above all else, Diana cherished being a mother to her children and grandmother to her beloved granddaughter, Monserrat. Nothing brought her more pride and joy than watching her family grow. Her nurturing spirit created a loving home where memories were made and bonds were strengthened. The unconditional love she showered upon her family will forever be treasured.

Diana's personality was enchanting, and her infectious laughter would brighten any room she entered. She had a remarkable ability to care deeply for others and went out of her way to ensure their well-being. Her compassion knew no bounds, and the impact she had on those fortunate enough to know her will never be forgotten.

In honor of Diana's memory, her loved ones will be holding a series of services to celebrate her remarkable life. The visitation will take place on September 12, 2023, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Crotty Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Belton, Texas. This will be an opportunity for family and friends to come together, share stories, and reminisce about the beautiful moments they shared with Diana. Additionally, there will be rosary following the visitation on September 12, 2023, from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location.

The funeral service will take place on September 13, 2023, starting at 11:00 AM at the Crotty Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Belton, Texas. This final tribute will be a time for individuals from near and far to come together and bid farewell to a remarkable woman whose impact will continue to be felt by all.

Diana leaves behind a legacy that will forever echo through the lives of those she touched. She is survived by her children, Hector Chavez Jr., Karime Chavez, and Sheila Chavez of Temple, TX; her brothers, Ulises Avila of McAllen, TX; Javier Avila of Saltillo, MX; Sergio Avila of Rio Bravo, MX; and Jose Avila of Rio Bravo, MX. She also leaves behind her sisters Brenda Alejandre of Houston, TX; Selene Arellano of Rio Bravo, MX; Xiomara Deleon of Donna, TX Ma Veronica Avila of Rio Bravo, MX. Diana's cherished grandchild holds memories that are now even more precious. In addition to her immediate family members, she is survived by numerous extended family members and friends who were deeply impacted by her presence in their lives.
