Doris ""Susie"" Jean Salyers

Doris ""Susie""Jean Salyers, 62, of Temple went to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at a local hospital. A visitation will be held on Monday, September 17, 2018 form 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Crotty Funeral Home in Belton. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 with Pastor John Strout officiating at Crotty Funeral Home in Belton. Cremation will take place following funeral services and Susie's ashes will be taken back home to Ohio and some here with her mother in Texas. Susie was born to Rannie Riddle and Sadie Taylor Smith on December 18, 1955 in Waco. Doris married the love of her life Kent Agee on October 5, 1973 and he passed away in 1986. Susie was a CNA and caretaker most of her life. Several years later she found love again in Charles Salyers and they married on May 20, 1994. Charles passed in 2017. She was a caring loving woman that loved spending time with her family and will be dearly missed. She is preceded in death by, her father, Rannie Riddle; her mother, Sadie Smith; her husbands, Kent Agee and Charles Salyers; her brothers, Billy Joe Riddle and Rannie Lee Riddle Jr. Susie is survived by her step father, Larry Haire Sr.; her daughters, Parri Garcia and husband, Gene, Sadie Avery and husband, Billy, Robbie Salyers; sons, Chuck Salyers and wife, Autumn, John Salyers, JJ Salyers and wife Harlie, her brothers, Kenneth Riddle, Leonard Riddle, Larry Haire, and Robert Haire; sisters Joann Henager, Jessica Armold, Wilma Moya, Sadie Kankelfitz, and April Pagel; fifteen grandchildren; Numerous nieces, nephews, cherished family and friends. The family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to the Doctors and nurses at Frensenius Dialysis Center and Baylor Scott and White, and Dr. Brooks at Veteran Memorial Hospital for all the professionalism and care.
