Eva Mae Brown

Eva Mae Brown, 77, of Temple passed away on Friday, February 28, 2020 in a local nursing home. Eva was born to Olite and Rudolf Lege on September 10, 1942. Eva was a dedicated worker, talented seamstress, and enjoyed crocheting. Eva loved to laugh. She was a devoted wife and mother. The family will be holding private services. Eva is survived by her sons, Carl Preston Brown III and wife Lori of Bastrop, and Chris Dwayne Brown of Temple; her daughter, Cathy Brown of Temple; her brothers, Gilbert Lege of Port Arthur and Gene Lege of Houston; and her one grandchild, Melanie. Eva is preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Carl Preston Brown Jr.; her brother, Rudy Lege; her sister, Pearl Trosclair; and her parents.
