Frank Eugene Gladding

January 24, 1994 — July 25, 2025

Frank Eugene Gladding, a man known for his loving nature, adventurous spirit, boundless creativity, and passionate heart, passed away on July 25, 2025, at the age of 31. Born on January 24, 1994, in Torrington, Connecticut, Frank's early years were filled with the warmth and support of a close-knit family. He was the cherished son of Patricia J. Gladding of Jarrell, Texas, and Jeffrey Gladding Sr. currently of Harker Heights, Texas. Frank's infectious zest for life was a beacon of joy for his beloved daughter, Elise Gladding of Austin, Texas, and her mother Marie Ivory of Austin, Texas and his devoted brothers, Jeffrey M. Gladding Jr of Harker Heights, Texas, and Bryan D. Gladding of Middletown, Connecticut. Frank was also a proud grandson to Maureen Flanders of Spencerport, New York, and Kenneth Gladding of Cornwall Bridge, Connecticut, as well as Rosemary Marinelli of Winsted, Connecticut.

Frank's formative years were marked by his leadership and commitment to excellence, as demonstrated by his role as class president at Oliver Wolcott Technical High School in 2012, and his active participation in the National Honor Society. Throughout his school years, Frank's knack for organizing fundraising activities showcased his ability to inspire and mobilize those around him for a good cause. His educational journey laid a solid foundation for his future endeavors.

As a self-employed entrepreneur, a skilled salesman, and a Kirby Distributor, Frank's professional life was a testament to his drive and determination. He approached his work with the same vigor and enthusiasm that he brought to every aspect of his life.

Frank's love for adrenaline-fueled activities was well-known among his friends and family. Whether he was snowboarding down snowy slopes, casting a line into a tranquil lake, navigating waves while boating, perfecting his golf swing, exploring new places, entertaining friends with his generous hospitality, or riding his motorcycle with the wind in his hair, Frank lived every moment to its fullest. Above all, the times he cherished most were those spent with his daughter, Elise, sharing his passions and creating unforgettable memories.

As we remember Frank, we reflect on the words of Helen Keller: "Life is either a daring adventure or nothing at all." Indeed, Frank's life was a daring adventure, lived with fervor and an open heart. He embraced every opportunity with courage and an unwavering zest for life.

Frank was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Eugene Flanders, Eugene Mitchell, and Michael Marinelli, and by his Aunt Susan Marinelli and Uncle David Marinelli. Their influence on his life was profound, and their memory will continue to live on through Frank's enduring legacy.

Though Frank's life was tragically cut short, the impact he made on those around him will never be forgotten. His legacy will live on in the stories shared, the laughter he provoked, and the love he spread. Frank Eugene Gladding was, and always will be, a shining example of how to live life with love, adventure, and passion.

The family would like to thank their family and friends for their support during this difficult time.
