Gregory ""Greg"" Lane Spaid

Gregory Lane Spaid, 69, of Belton passed away on Monday, September 28, 2020 in the comfort of his home. Greg was born to Elsie and Russell Spaid on July 9, 1951 in Winchester, Virginia. Greg worked as a carpenter for over 20 years. He was also a deacon at Stillhouse Baptist Church and a Sunday school teacher. A visitation for Gregory will be held on Tuesday, October 6, 2020 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Crotty Funeral Home in Belton. Burial will follow at McDowell Cemetery. Fellowship time will be held at Stillhouse Baptist Church following the burial. Gregory is survived by his wife of 41 years, Donna Spaid of Belton, and his brothers, Ronnie Spaid and Donald Spaid, both of West Virginia. Gregory is preceded in death by his parents. In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to Stillhouse Baptist Church or the National Kidney Foundation. Arrangements are entrusted to Crotty Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Belton.
