Helen Anita Brooks

Helen Anita Brooks, 68, of Belton passed away on Tuesday, October 29, 2019 in a local hospital. Helen was born to Edna and B.G. Caldwell on March 3, 1951 in Belton. She spent her days raising her children and being the best mother and wife she could. Helen enjoyed bingo, crocheting, and spending time with her family and friends. She also loved to eat lunch and visit at Yetti Polk Park in Belton. A celebration of life with Pastor Bill Trotter officiating will be held on Sunday, November 3, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Armstrong Community Center, located at 6499 Armstrong Rd, Belton, Texas 76513. A meal will follow the service. Helen is survived by her husband Nelson Brooks; her sons, Glenn Brooks of Salado, and Bryan Brooks of Belton; her daughter, Julia Smith of Gatesville; her brother, Billy Caldwell of Rogers; her sisters, Jan Montgomery of Belton, and Bobbie Barry of Oregon; her thirteen grandchildren; and her seven great grandchildren.
