James Thomas Conley

James Thomas Conley, 89, of Belton passed away on Sunday, December 13, 2020 in a local hospital. James was born to Catherine and John Conley on August 6, 1931 in Dudley, Pennsylvania. He served his country in the United States Army and Navy, was a POW for 32 months, then went on to work for Centex Periodicals for 25 years.

A memorial service for James will be held on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at 1:00 PM at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen.

James is survived by his daughters, Yvonne Crist of Colorado, and Gail Bowden of Belton; eight grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.

James is preceded in death by his son, Kenneth Conley; and his daughter, Lesa Gilbert.
