Janice” Inman”Kilpatrick, a dearly beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother (Nana), and great-grandmother, departed this life on June 13, 2025, in Temple, Texas, leaving behind a lasting legacy of love, warmth, and cherished memories. Born in Union, South Carolina, on July 10, 1948, Janice's life was a shining example of devotion, resilience, and the unwavering love of her family. As a devoted business partner, Janice co-owned Kilpatrick Heating and Air Conditioning with her husband Thomas M. Kilpatrick for over 45 years, a successful venture built on their partnership and dedication. Their life together was a beautiful journey marked by shared dreams, laughter, and mutual commitment to family and friends.
Janice was a dedicated mother to eight children, including Walter & Connie Brannon of Copperas Cove, Jeffrey & Cosette (Cozy) Brannon of Weatherford, TX, Penny Giccatti and Angel Brannon of Killeen, Elizabeth & Dale Rousar of Nolanville, Barbara & Billy Turner of Temple, Walter (Nickel) Kilpatrick of Killeen, Jackie & Jon Huddleston of Killeen. She took immense pride in her children, instilling in them the values of hard work, kindness, and perseverance. Her influence extended to her grandchildren, whom she cherished deeply. Cody Brannon, Collin Brannon, Colton Brannon, Gavin Brannon, Kyle Brannon, Kayla Barreras, Justin Lara, Courtney Key, Ashten Rousar, Amberlyn Rousar, Trey St John, Jace St John, Kenley Kilpatrick, Korbyn Kilpatrick, Kaegan Huddleston, Brayden Huddleston, and Cannen Huddleston were all impacted by her loving presence, and her legacy continues to flourish in their hearts. Janice also leaves behind two brothers, Bo Inman of South Carolina and Gerald Inman of Killeen.
Janice also had the joy of welcoming into her life several great grandchildren: Kimber, Silas, Jeffrey, Elizabeth Brannon , David III Barreras and Jackson Krzywonski. Each new addition brought light into her life, and seeing her family grown was one of her greatest pleasures.
Though Janice’s journey was colored by the joy of her family, it was not without sorrows. She will be reunited in spirit with her beloved sisters Sarah Killian. From Tennessee, sister Shirley Gregory and Mary Wilburn of South Carolina, as well as her cherished brothers Dean Inman and Herbert Inman, both of South Carolina .Janice will also be remembered for her sweet great granddaughter, Everleigh D Barreras, who left us too soon.
In honoring Janice's life, we recognize her steadfast resolve, profound affection, and the indelible mark she left on those who knew her. Her memory will forever be a guiding light for her family, a testament to the enduring legacy of love, and a heritage that will reverberate through the ages. She will be profoundly missed yet remain deeply ingrained in the hearts of her family and friends. Love you Always and forever!
