Jeffrey Scott Patterson

Jeffrey Scott Patterson,55, of Temple passed away on Saturday July 24, 2021, at his residence. 

Funeral Services for Jeff will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, July 31, 2021, at Crotty Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Belton with Pastor Shelton Rhodes officiating. A viewing will be held one hour prior to services from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. His burial will follow at Moffat Cemetery in Moffat.

Jeff was born on January 25, 1966, to Richard and Peggy Patterson in Boone, Iowa. He graduated from Grandview High School and worked as a sales representative for Budweiser for many years. He later opened his own trucking company, Rollin’ Stonz Transportation in 2006. Jeff was an avid hunter. His favorite was duck and deer hunting and he had several mounted in his home. He enjoyed having his Harley Davidson Motorcycle, collecting knives and guns, and he spent a lot of time working on his company trucks. Jeff was such a big fan of racing that he refused to leave the house for anything if there was going to be a Nascar or NHRA race.

He is preceded in death by his father, Richard Patterson, his grandfather, Ivan Pierce, his grandmother, Elizabeth Patterson, his uncle, Johnny Pilkington, and his best hunting dog, Ruger “Duck Commander” Patterson.

Jeff is survived by his mother, Peggy Hilliard of Temple; his stepfather, Jack P. Hilliard of Temple; his daughters, Sydney Elizabeth Patterson of Waco, and Kailynne Rene Goldman of Belton; his grandmother, Betty Pierce; his brother, Tom Shelton of Temple; his half-brother, John Patterson of Boone, Iowa; his two sisters, Gina Hilliard, and Stacey Hilliard, both of Temple; his aunts, Bonnie Pilkington, Kathy Canelos, and numerous family members and friends.

Arrangements are entrusted to Crotty Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Belton.
