Jess Randall Dawson

Randy Dawson, 83, of Killeen passed away on September 30, 2014 at a Temple hospital. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 Friday at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery with Pastor Weldon Hicks officiating. Mr. Dawson was born on November 12, 1930 to Jesse and Matie Tosh Dawson. He married Edna Mae Dawson on May 29, 1952 and she preceded him in death on July 4, 2013. He joined the U.S. Navy on June 15, 1949 until 1950. He owned and Operated J&R Motorcycles and rental properties.He was a very loving man who loved westerns, crossword puzzles and boating. He will be dearly missed by family and friends. He attended East Trimmier Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Edna Dawson, and one sister Lorene Clark. He is survived by one son Brad Dawson of Bertram; one sister, Donna Roberts of Wood River, Ill.; one niece, Patti Roberts;one nephew, Zach; two grandchildren, Cindy and Jian Pena and Darrah and Jeff Freidman,and six great grandchildren.
