Joe Manuel Bassa

Joe Manuel Bassa, 61, of Belton died Friday, September 1, 2023 at a Temple hospital.

Services for Joe will be held at a later date.

Joe was born on December 12, 1961 in Temple, Texas to Juan and Juanita (Lara) Bassa. Joe married Cheryl Lynn Dewitt on January 25, 1985 in Bell County.

Joe is preceded in death by a brother, Travis Lara and a sister, Mary Jane Lara.

Joe is survived by his wife, Cheryl Bassa; two daughters, Juanita Bassa and Jessica Martinez; three brothers, Daniel Lara, Tony Bassa and Bobby John Lara; two sisters, Julia Bassa and Elena Bassa and one grandson, Gabriel Michael Burnett.
