Johnny Trevino a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and great-great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on August 6, 2026,  surrounded by the love of his family.

He was a hardworking man who spent his life providing for and caring for the people he loved. His strength, determination, and dedication to his family were evident throughout his life. He believed in working hard, taking care of what was his, and being there for those who needed him. Those who knew him will remember the life he built, the lessons he taught, and the many memories he leaves behind.

One of the greatest blessings of his life was the love he shared with his wife of 67 years, Naomi Trevino. Together, they built a life and family that grew through generations. Their marriage was a testimony of commitment, perseverance, and lasting love.

He found joy in the simple things in life—spending time with his family, being outdoors, tending to his property, enjoying his John Deere, and picking pears from his pear tree. Above all, his greatest legacy can be seen in the children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren who loved him dearly.

In his final days, our family witnessed one of the most precious moments of his life. He accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and was baptized from his bedside. It brought great comfort to his family knowing that before he left this earth, he made his peace with God and placed his faith in Christ.

Although saying goodbye is painful, we find comfort in the promise of Scripture:

“He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain.” — Revelation 21:4

His room may now be empty, and his physical presence deeply missed, but the life he lived will continue through every person who carries his memories, his stories, and a piece of him in their heart.

He leaves behind a family who loved him beyond words and who will forever be grateful for the years God allowed them to share with him.

Rest peacefully, Grandpa. Your work here is finished. Your family will carry your memory forward until we meet again.
