Joseph "Joe" Willoughby, Sr.

Joseph “Joe” Willoughby, Sr. age 59, of Belton passed away on July 9, 2022, in Temple.

A viewing will be held on Friday, July 15, 2022, from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.  at Crotty Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Belton. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, July 16, 2022, at Crotty Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Pastor H.K Ballard officiating.  

Joseph Willoughby Sr. was born to Clarence and Alice Willoughby on September 9, 1962, in Germany. Joe worked as a truckdriver for over 20 years and retired in 2010. He met the love of his life Deloris Spiller while out dancing and they married on August 15, 1998, in Belton. Joe loved going out dancing with his wife, working on cars, watching the news, spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Joe is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Alice Willoughby, his brother, William “Bill” Willoughby, Timothy Willoughby, and Kenneth Willoughby.

He is survived by his wife of over 23 years, Deloris Willoughby of Belton; his five children, Wendi Bowles and husband, Scott of Austin. Joseph “JW’ Willoughby Jr. and wife, Amy of Odessa; Breanna Willoughby of Belton, Christopher Willoughby of Rogers, and Tarell “T.C.“ Willoughby of Belton; his four brothers, Jimmy Willoughby and wife, Linda of Gatesville, Danni Willoughby and wife, Virginia  of Temple, Ricky Willoughby of Temple, Jay Willoughby and wife, Marie of Troy; his three sisters, Linda Culp of Florida, Mary Willoughby of Temple, and Judy Beene of Morgan’s Point; his seven grandchildren, Bryan , Joseph “Tre” III, Arya, Dalton, Charles, Lillianne , and Justin “JJ”, and many  cherished family members and friends.
