Joshua Alan Lambert, known affectionately as Josh to his friends and family, passed away on June 8, 2025, at the age of 36. Born on June 16, 1988, in Pasadena, TX, Josh grew up with a spirited personality and a heart full of dreams.

Josh was a beloved son to Monique and Tim, a cherished brother to Justin, Jarett, and Jacob, and a loving family member to Aunt Donna, Grandma, Mike, Benjamin, Dusty and his dog Lola. His family was the cornerstone of his life, and he devoted himself to them with every fiber of his being.

Proudly serving his country, Josh was a decorated sailor in the United States Navy, earning the rank of Petty Officer 3rd Class Boatswain's Mate. With 3 1/2 years of sea service, he was known for his unwavering commitment and bravery. His military accolades included the Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal, and Expert Marksman Medal. He played a vital role in combat readiness and humanitarian missions, significantly contributing to global operations. His service aboard the USS Carl Vinson during Operation Enduring Freedom was marked by notable events, including the disposal of Osama bin Laden's body, showcasing his involvement in critical moments of history.

His love of music was a melody that played throughout his life, often found strumming his guitar and crafting tunes that reflected his soulful nature. Josh was an avid fisherman, hunter and a master at cooking. He had a passion for working with his hands and really enjoyed accomplishing the job for himself or others. He enjoyed shooting guns, reading, watching movies and quoting one liners from his favorite movies or life experiences. “Save me a piece of the corn”, “James, get my screwdriver” and his brother Jacob’s words “Thought you was my broootha”.

Josh's sense of humor brought laughter to any room, and his loving nature made him a beacon of comfort and joy for his friends and family.

Joshua Alan Lambert's life was a beautiful tapestry woven with love, service, and the joy of being uniquely himself. He was a son, brother, nephew, grandson, uncle and best friend. He will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him, but his spirit will continue to live on in the hearts and memories of his loved ones.
