Kami Beth Ann Martin-Miesner

April 29, 1983 — December 11, 2025

Kami Beth-Ann Martin-Miesner, lovingly known as “Kami,” passed away on December 11, 2025, at the age of 42, in Temple, Texas. Born on April 29, 1983, in Evansville, Indiana, Kami was a radiant light in the lives of everyone who knew her. Her warmth, friendliness, and adventurous spirit were the defining qualities that touched countless hearts throughout her life.

Kami’s life was beautifully woven with love, family, friendship, and joy. She is survived by her husband, Aaron Miesner, and her beloved children, MacKenzie Martin, Ava Miesner, Emma Miesner, and Donnie Miesner. One of her greatest joys was becoming “Maw” to her treasured grandson, Malakai Godinez. Kami is also survived by her siblings Kristy Wease, Tara Evrard (Terry), Rodney Patmore, Rusty Koonce, Jamin Oldendorf (Shanan), Jayson Oldendorf, and Josh Seals-Adore (Judy), along with her dear partner and companion Michael Tapp. She leaves behind a large extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, and loved ones who were all blessed by her kindness and care.

She was preceded in death by her father, Morris “Pat” Patmore; her mother, Theresa “Kay” Wilson; her paternal grandparents, Gene Patmore and Marie Lockhart; her maternal grandparents, Fred and Theresa Wilson; and her precious son, Aiden Martin.

Kami attended Heritage Hills High School and later Harrison High School, where she built the foundation for a life rooted in dedication, resilience, and compassion. She went on to build a successful career in the hospitality industry, where she was known as a talented and charismatic bartender. Her coworkers and customers alike will forever remember her infectious laugh, her welcoming presence, and her ability to make every space feel warm and inviting.

Beyond her career, Kami had a deep love for adventure and travel. She cherished experiencing new places and cultures and creating memories across the miles. Yet, no matter where life took her, her heart always remained with her family. They were her world, and the moments spent with them were her greatest joy.

Those blessed to know Kami will always remember her loving spirit, kind heart, bright smile, and willingness to help anyone in need. Her adventurous nature will continue to inspire those she leaves behind to live fully, love deeply, and embrace each day with gratitude.

Kami’s life was a beautiful testament to compassion, strength, and joy. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who love her.
