Kathryn "Katie" Ann Dickerson, known to her loved ones as Katie, passed away on August 10, 2023, in Belton, Texas. She was born on November 3, 1963, in Topeka, KS to Larry and Barbara Cormack. Katie attended high school in Topeka before embarking on a fulfilling career as a small business ownet, then a dedicated clerical worker at Air Gas in Belton for over eleven years.

Katie will be remembered for her warmth and love for those around her. She had an incredible ability to make everyone feel welcome and cared for. Her family and friends will deeply miss her amazing cooking and the joyous dinners that she often hosted. Katie had a talent for creating lasting memories through shared meals and laughter.

One of Katie's greatest joys in life was being a wife and mother. She wholeheartedly embraced these roles and poured her love into her family. Her son Kyle was her pride and joy, and she watched with immense happiness as he grew up to become the man he is today. Becoming a grandmother brought Katie immeasurable joy, and she cherished every moment spent with her precious granddaughter Madilynn.

While hardworking and dedicated to her career, Katie also knew how to find joy outside of work. She loved spending time outdoors, whether it was exploring the beauty of mountains or relaxing on sun-kissed beaches or just tending to her flower beds. A nice glass of wine in hand always added an extra touch of enjoyment to these experiences. Family meant everything to Katie, and she consistently went above and beyond to provide love and support to those closest to her.

In spite of facing illness towards the end of her life, Katie continued to exemplify strength, resilience, and unwavering love for her family. It is these qualities that will forever remain etched in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Katie is survived by her beloved husband, Jim Dickerson. Their love was a pillar of strength and provided a solid foundation for their family. Her son Kyle Walter Hawk and his wife, Morgan, of Ruidoso, NM were not only a source of immense pride for Katie but also brought immeasurable joy to her life. Katie's sister, Karen Cormack Collins of Burleson, many family members, and friends.

Katie's cherished granddaughter, Madilynn Hawk of Ruidoso, will forever carry the memories and loving bond shared with her grandmother in her heart. Katie also leaves behind her three beloved dogs - Blue, Abby, Monkey - as well as her dear cat Ziva.

Many cherished family members and friends mourn Katie's passing but are also comforted in knowing that she left an indelible impact on their lives.
