Kiersten Foster-Williams

Kiersten Foster-Williams passed away far too soon, leaving behind a family who loved her deeply and a story marked by generosity, compassion, and love.

Above all, Kiersten was the mother of her beautiful 17-year-old daughter, Brylee Williams. Kiersten was so proud of Brylee and the young woman she had become. Brylee was an incredibly important part of her life, and the love Kiersten had for her daughter was immeasurable.

One of the things that defined Kiersten most was her willingness to help someone else, even when she had very little herself. If someone needed her, she would drive hours to pick them up and give them a safe place to stay. At work, she would give gas money to someone in need, even when she didn’t have much for herself. Kiersten did not need to have much to give. If she had something and someone else needed it, she would share it.

That generosity was simply part of who Kiersten was. She had a genuine compassion for others and would go out of her way for the people she cared about. She was a daughter, mother, wife, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin, and friend whose heart was often bigger than what she had to give.

Kiersten was preceded in death by her mother and father, Sherry and Charles Foster; her grandfather, Ernest Rose (Pa); her grandparents, Karen and Marion Barfield (Sugarmama and Papa); and her uncle, Ernest Joe Rose Jr. (Bubba).

She is survived by her husband, Tommy Williams; her daughter, Brylee Williams; her brother, Tristan Daniel; her aunts, Brenda Rose, Ashley Barfield, and Jody Taylor; and her cousins, Kessiah Powell, Tiffany Horton, Jonathan Harper, and Lacy Gonzales. She also leaves behind many other cousins, extended family members, and friends who loved her and will continue to carry her memory with them.

Kiersten’s time here ended far too soon, but her life mattered. She will be remembered for her huge heart, her willingness to help others even when she had so little herself, her compassion for those around her, and most of all, the love she had for her daughter.

Those who loved Kiersten will miss her more than words can express and will forever wish they had been given more time with her. We hope she is finally at peace, surrounded once again by the family she loved and lost before her.
