Laura Dawn Alford

Laura Dawn Alford, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and cherished friend, passed away on December 27, 2025, at the age of 66. Born on November 13, 1959, in Anchorage, Alaska, Laura brought warmth and love into every life she touched.

Laura pursued her education with passion, earning her bachelor's degree from the University of Mary-Hardin Baylor. With dedication and hard work, she became a skilled bookkeeper for the company she co-owned with her husband, Randy Alford. Together, they built a life rooted in partnership and mutual support.

Laura was known for her adventurous spirit and her love for travel. Nothing brought her more joy than spending quality time with her family, especially her beloved grandchildren. She was often seen cheering enthusiastically from the sidelines at their soccer games, a testament to her unwavering support and dedication as a grandmother.

Laura is survived by her loving husband, Randy Alford; her sons, Landon Alford and his wife Martha of Austin, Texas; Jared Alford of Belton, Texas; and Brandon Alford of Temple, Texas. She is also survived by her niece, Christie Haynes of Las Vegas, Nevada, and her cherished grandchildren Easton and Finley Alford, Hayley Alford, and Riley Alford.

Laura was preceded in death by her brother, Ken Haynes Jr., and her parents, Ken and Bobbie Haynes.

Her vibrant spirit and caring nature will be profoundly missed, as she leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue to inspire her family and friends. Laura Dawn Alford will always be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and fierce devotion to her family.
