Laura Jo Foster, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 10, 2026, in Belton, Texas, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on June 30, 1959, in Salem, New Jersey, to the late William and Iris Davis, Laura lived a life defined by kindness, generosity, and unconditional love. Her warm smile, gentle spirit, and caring heart touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

Laura graduated from Pennsville Memorial High School with the Class of 1977. She dedicated 25 years of service to Mannington Mills before retiring, where she was respected and appreciated for her strong work ethic, loyalty, and friendly nature.

Laura shared 46 wonderful years of marriage with the love of her life, her devoted husband, Brian Foster. Together, they built a beautiful life centered on faith, family, laughter, and unwavering love. Their home was one of warmth, support, and countless treasured memories.

She was a devoted and loving mother to her son, Brian Foster, and her daughter, Erin Gillen. Laura guided them with wisdom, encouragement, and unconditional love throughout their lives. She also lovingly welcomed Brian’s wife, Natalie, and Erin’s husband, Patrick, into the family, embracing them as her own.

Nothing brought Laura greater joy than being “Mimo” to her cherished grandchildren, Fallon, Lane, Greyson, and Jaxon. She treasured every moment spent with them, celebrating their accomplishments, making lasting memories, and teaching them the values of kindness, perseverance, and compassion. Her love for them knew no bounds.

Outside of work, Laura found happiness in life’s simple pleasures. She loved gardening and took great pride in creating beautiful outdoor spaces. She especially looked forward to vacations in St. Martin, a place that brought her peace and many treasured memories with family. Above all, Laura loved gathering her family around the table for her cherished Sunday dinners. Those meals were more than delicious home-cooked food—they were a tradition of togetherness, laughter, and love that her family will forever hold close to their hearts.

Laura will be remembered for the love she gave so freely, the compassion she showed to everyone she met, and the lasting impact she made on the lives of those around her. Her legacy lives on through the family she adored and the countless memories she created.

Laura is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Brian Foster; her son, Brian Foster and his wife, Natalie; her daughter, Erin Gillen and her husband, Patrick; her beloved grandchildren, Falon, Lane, Greyson, and Jaxon; her brother, Ed Davis; her sister, Diane Coltson; along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will miss her deeply.

In addition to her parents, William and Iris Davis, Laura was preceded in death by those loved ones who welcomed her into eternal peace.

Though her presence will be profoundly missed, the love she shared, the traditions she created, and the example she set will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Memorial services will be held privately at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to the Sarcoma Unit at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas, in Laura’s honor.
