With deep love and heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Laverne Gail Dach, who went home to be with the Lord on August 4, 2025, at the age of 63. A devoted wife, mother, proud grandmother, loving sister and aunt, a great friend, and faithful servant of God, Laverne’s life was a testament to love, grace, and unwavering faith. Born in Wichita Falls, TX on August 18, 1961, to Lucian and Lola Lyssy, Laverne spent her life pouring love into her family and those around her. She found her greatest joy in her grandchildren, whom she adored beyond measure. Laverne walked closely with God throughout her life, turning to Him in every season. Her strength came from prayer, and her heart was anchored in grace.

She is survived by her loving husband, Kevin Dach; her children, Edwin Lusty Jr and wife Randi Lusty, Justin Lusty, and Scott Lusty; and her grandchildren, Emma, Kamryn, Madeline, Rhyder, Kyndall, Kynslee, Lola, and Waylon - who will carry her memory in their hearts forever. She is also remembered by extended family and dear friends whose lives she touched deeply. Laverne lived a life of quiet strength, generous love, and deep devotion. Though her absence is felt profoundly, her legacy will live on through every prayer whispered, every family meal shared, and every grandchild’s smile.

A service celebrating Laverne’s life and faith will be held at Crotty Funeral Home located at 5431 US 190 in Belton, TX. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 8, 2025 from 5-7pm. Services will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2025 at 11am. In keeping with her spirit, the family asks that memorial donations be made to Soldiers of the Cross Cowboy Fellowship, or simply to love your family and trust in God, as she always did.
