Linda Gilbert

Linda Gilbert, 81, of Moody died Monday, October 17, 2022, at her home surrounded by family. She was born September 29, 1941, to Leonard and Bernice (Pendergrass) Rotan in Nolan, Texas. Linda worked as a prison guard for many years working in Abilene and Gatesville, Texas.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Joe Gilbert in 2006 and ex-husband, CW Williams in 2020.

Survivors include three sons, Clay Williams and wife Cathy of Moody, Larry Gilbert of Mexico and Paul Gilbert of Amarillo, Texas; a daughter, Debra Black of Amarillo, Texas; two brothers, George Rotan of Nolan, Texas and Jerry Rotan of San Angelo, Texas; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
