Linda Jo Quackenbush, known for her warm smile and caring heart, passed away on October 19, 2023, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.

She was born on April 6, 1965, in Sylmar, CA, to her loving parents Branton Edward Shows and Patsy Loraine Shows, both preceded her in death in 2021. Linda had a remarkable career as an RX Clerk at Rite Aid, where she dedicated many years of service until her well-deserved retirement in 2021.

When she wasn't working, Linda found joy in her hobbies. She had a deep love for reading, particularly Danielle Steele books that allowed her to escape into different worlds. Linda also enjoyed the simple pleasures of shopping with friends and family, always embracing the joy of finding something special. Music played a significant role in Linda's life too; she often found herself lost in the melodies of Fleetwood Mac or singing along to the soundtracks of iconic movies like Dirty Dancing and Grease.

Linda enjoyed attending holiday services with her daughter Michelle Bell at Water of Life Ministry in CA.

Linda's love extended beyond her own interests - she deeply cared for her family and friends. Her presence brought warmth to every gathering, creating a sense of belonging for all who were fortunate enough to know her. She leaves behind a legacy that will continue to inspire and guide those who carry her memory in their hearts.

Linda is survived by her beloved children: son, Charles Bell and wife Maria Bell; daughter, Michelle Bell; son, Michael Bell and wife Cassandra Elwell; son, Christopher Bell, her adopted daughter, Leslie Shows and fiancé Tajrinaar Geralde, and adopted son, Vincent Zaich, along with many others who called her mom; her adored grandchildren: Cherie Bell, Collin Buelna, Justin Cuevas, Valery Bell, and Jaden Smith. She is also survived by her sister Melissa (Lisa) Bullard of Temple, her sister Marty Evans of Temple, as well as her brothers Jeffery Quackenbush, Scott Shows, and Steven Quackenbush.

Private family services will be held at a later date. As we gather to mourn Linda's passing and celebrate the beautiful life she lived, let us remember her as a woman who found joy in the simplest of things and left a lasting impact on all who knew her.

Arrangements are entrusted to Crotty Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
