Lonnie Frank Jordan, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, departed this world on December 1, 2025, in Nolanville, Texas, surrounded by the love and memories of his cherished family. Born on June 29, 1943, in Houston, Texas, Lonnie was the embodiment of a lifelong Texan, with deep roots in both his community and his work.
As the proud owner of ATM Installations for 26 years, Lonnie dedicated his life to his career, providing unwavering commitment and service until his well-deserved retirement in 2020. Known for his work ethic and dedication, he treated every interaction as an opportunity to connect with others, becoming a trusted and familiar face in the industry.
Lonnie's spirit was not confined to his profession; he was a man of many passions. An avid NASCAR fan, he reveled in the thrill of racing and spent countless hours working on cars, finding joy in both the mechanics of machinery and the camaraderie that emerged from those shared interests. He also had a fascination with guns, appreciating the history and precision behind them. Yet, perhaps what Lonnie loved most was the simple act of conversing—sharing stories and laughter with friends and even strangers alike, forging connections that enriched his life and those around him.
Family was the cornerstone of Lonnie's life. He is survived by his devoted wife, Linda Jordan, with whom he shared 32 beautiful years of marriage—a testament to their deep partnership and love. Lonnie was a proud father to his son, Corey Jordan, residing in Florida, and his daughter, Leisha Jones. He delighted in being a grandfather to his four grandchildren: Sophia Kirby, Courtney Jordan, and Calib Jordan, all of Texas and Florida respectively, whose laughter and boundless energy brought immense joy to his life.
Lonnie's legacy also includes the profound memories shared with those who will miss him dearly, including his friends and family who knew him as someone who was "always there whenever friends or family needed him." His kindness and readiness to lend a helping hand will forever be etched in the hearts of those lucky enough to have known him.
He is Preceded in death by Kyle Jordan and Christopher Jones.
As we remember Lonnie Frank Jordan, let us celebrate a life well-lived; a life dedicated not only to hard work but to love, friendship, and the enduring spirit of Texas. May his memory serve as a guiding light for all who carry him in their hearts.
