Mallory Lauryn Rose Wade

June 18, 2020 — May 27, 2025

Mallory Lauryn Rose Wade, our beloved "Gobo Baby," departed this world on May 27, 2025, at the tender age of five. Born on June 18, 2020, in Round Rock, Texas, Mallory's journey was marked by courage and a Contagious  happy spirit that inspired all who were fortunate enough to know her. Services are pending at this time

From her earliest days, Mallory faced significant challenges, born with a traumatic brain injury resulting in hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy (HIE). She spent her first 21 days in the NICU, where she fought valiantly, showing strength beyond her years. Though diagnosed later with spastic quadriplegic cerebral palsy, her spirit was never confined by her disabilities. Mallory embraced life with a joyous heart, never letting her physical limitations define her. She communicated her vibrant personality through her beautiful smile and the way she lit up the lives of those around her.

Her quick wit and playful spirit made her the silliest and sweetest girl her family could have wished for. Mallory may have been non-verbal and non-mobile, relying on her trusty wheelchair—her "Hot Wheel"—to navigate the world. Yet, she was loud and proud in every way that mattered, teaching everyone around her valuable lessons about resilience, love, and joy. The bond she shared with her siblings, Everett and Addison, was profound and unbreakable, a testament to the love woven through their family.

Mallory's time at Belton Early Childhood Development was filled with moments of laughter and learning, where her medical and educational teams cherished her unique spirit. Her journey was one of remarkable milestones, including adjustments to her feeding through a G-Tube, which only added to her strength and determination.

Though her time with us was far too brief, her impact was immeasurable. She is Survived by her parents  Taylor Wade (Dad), Audrey Preece (Mom), her loving grandparents Tod Preece and Don Wade, and her adoring grandmothers, Tisha Wade and the late Micah Desmarais. She is also survived by her uncles Carson, Harrison, and Donivan, special aunts Felicia, Reagan, and Miriah, as well as her cousins Olivia, Chloe, and Iverson.

As we reflect on the joy Mallory brought into our lives, we remember her spirit with the words, "Every time a bell rings, an angel gets their wings." To us, Mallory will forever be an angel, who fought against all odds with a smile that could light up any room. Her memory will live on in our hearts, reminding us to cherish each moment and honor the unyielding strength of love.

Her favorite things to watch were Miss Rachel , Spongebob Square pants and she loved sea animals.
