Maridenia "Mari" Galan Ferguson

April 2, 1958 — September 19, 2021


 Maridenia G. Ferguson, of Belton went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, September 19, 2021 at a local hospital.

Mari's family is beyond grateful for all the phone calls, prayers, and condolences. The family has chosen the service to be private due to wanting to save you from experiencing the same loss this virus has caused their family. A private family viewing will be held from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Monday, September 27, 2021 at Crotty Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Belton. Graveside services will be held at 9:00 A.M.  on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen. 

Mari was born on April 2, 1958 in Eagle Pass. She accepted Christ at a young age and loved going to Church. Mari met the love of her life Robert W. Ferguson Sr. and they married on April 28, 1988. She loved caring for others and especially children. Mari worked in the Child Development Department at Immanuel Baptist Church in Temple for over 30 years caring for children. She enjoyed working and attending her church at Amity Brush Arbor Church in Belton; she was their 1st member. Mari served on the board for the church and was an Elder. Mari loved the Lord. Mari collected Blue Willow China. 

Mari is preceded in death by her parents.

Mari is survived by her loving husband, Robert Ferguson of Belton, her brothers, Andy Galan of Ozona and Joe Galan of California, her sisters, Ludy Vargas of San Angelo, Getta Ferrero of Ozona, and many cherished family members and friends. 

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in her honor to Amity Brush Arbor Church in Belton.

Arrangements are entrusted to Crotty Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Belton.
